Group Affiliation
The value of a user attributes can be referenced at the following times, and mapping settings can be configured to make the user belong to any group.
- When signing up in the Authentication UI (including first time external authentication)
- When reset password is executed in the Authentication UI
- When a user signs in for the first time with the status
"Reset Required"
in the Authentication UI
Go to "Side menu"
-"User"
and click the "USERS"
or "GROUPS"
button to find the "Group Affiliation"
icon.
Click on the "Group Affiliation"
icon to open the "Group Affiliation"
dialog box.
Tips
Create
- Click the
"Add"
link in the lower left corner of the screen. - Enter the group affiliation mapping information.

Value | Required | Enter the criteria value if the specified user attribute values are equal. |
Affiliation Group | Required | Enter the group to belong to. |
- Click the
"ADD"
button. - The created group affiliation mapping information will appear in the group affiliation settings list.
Tips
List of Group Affiliation Settings
Group affiliation settings registered in User Manager are displayed in a list. The meaning of each item is as follows.
Item | Description |
---|---|
User Attribute | Specified user attribute. |
Value | Value to be compared with the user attribute value. |
Affiliation Group | Group name to which the user is belong to. |
Operation Menu
Click on the "Vertical Three-Point Reader"
to the right of each record in the Group Affiliation list to open the "Menu"
.
Each menu item is explained as follows
Menu | Description |

Edit | Edit Group Affiliation dialog opens to update group affiliation mapping information. |
Delete | Delete group affiliation settings. |
