Domains

View custom domain settings by going to "Side Menu"-"Config and Monitoring"-"Domains".

The application URL defaults to:
https://①{xxx}.webperformer.jp/②{xxx}

URL part	String	Determination method
① Sub domain	Execution environment ID	Automatically determined by the system String consisting of 6 digits a-z, 0-9
② Context path	Application ID	User-specified

The domain portion of https://①{xxx}.webperformer.jp/ is determined on a per-execution environment basis, but can be changed to a domain of the user’s choice by setting up a custom domain as described next.

For example, if the custom domain is set to "canon-its.co.jp", the application URL will be https://canon-its.co.jp/②{xxx}.

Tips

• Custom domain functionality is not available with the Free Plan.
• You will need to acquire the desired domain name on your own.

The following is how to set up a custom domain:

1. Click on the "Domains" link.
2. Enter the domain name you wish to change.
3. Click the "Save and Continue" button.
4. Confirm that the domain has been set to a custom domain and select "Info" from the right menu.
5. Register the displayed CNAME record with the domain management site.

Please set the following two CNAME records:

• Hostname: “Name” of custom domain information, Value: “Value” of custom domain information
• Hostname: “Domain” of custom domain information, Value: “Cloud Front Domain” of custom domain information

6. When the registered domain is approved by AWS Certificate Manager, the color of the custom domain text changes from red to yellow.
7. Select "Publish" from the right menu of the custom domain that has been approved by AWS Certificate Manager.
8. When the domain becomes available, the color of the custom domain text changes from yellow to green.

Tips

• Once a custom domain becomes available, the default main will no longer be available. The status of a custom domain is updated by selecting “Refresh” from the right menu.
• The color of the custom domain text changes depending on the status of the custom domain:
  • Red: AWS Certificate Manager is not recognized.
  • Yellow: AWS Certificate Manager approved, not published
  • Green: Published, custom domain available

The procedure for deleting a custom domain is as follows:

1. Select "Un-Publish" from the right menu of the domain.
2. Select "Delete" from the right menu of the domain.
3. When a custom domain is deleted, it automatically reverts to the default domain.
